What should we be watching out for? Throw out your name and title if you've got a piece.
I'm Kate, and I'm currently working on A Summer to Die as my prose piece. It's still long, so I'll have to cut some more, but I really love it so far. =)

Being happy doesn’t mean that everything’s perfect; it just means you’ve decided to see beyond the imperfections.

I'm Alex, and I'm doing God's Gift to Women by Eric Ludy for prose. It's basically about me =p
And for poetry, I'm doing some Marriage piece and I can't remember the author right now, I only just got it, and just cut it.

i'm doing a pretty obscure peice, cut from The Story of Henry Sugar, by roald Dahl. its about an East Indian guy who wants to be a yogi and have such powers of concentration that he can see without his eyes.
i really like my peice; im better at it than my poetry, and its more fun. i got better scores on it than my poetry, too. but it one of my rounds last touernament, 3 people did peices from roald Dahl!!! its a funny coincidence!!!

hey i currently compete in prose and poetry.
my prose is Mississippi Sissy by Kevin Sessum
my poetry is A Bad Case of the Sneezes, various poets.
i broke into quarter at emory with my prose and poetry. i quit in love with my prose right now even if the super conservative judges in my area dont like it. its about a young gay boy whose father burns his skirt hits his mother and calls him a girl. its just great.
